These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the MovieWizard Alexa skill (“the Skill”), operated by an individual developer based in the United Kingdom (“we,” “us,” or “our”).
By enabling, subscribing to, or using the Skill on an Amazon Alexa-enabled device, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of the Skill
MovieWizard is an Alexa skill that provides movie-related information and/or entertainment content through voice interaction.
Access to certain features of the Skill requires an active paid subscription.
The Skill operates on the Amazon Alexa platform and does not require separate account linking.
2. Subscription and Payments
2.1 Subscription Model
MovieWizard offers a monthly subscription that provides access to premium features.Subscription pricing is displayed within the Amazon Alexa interface at the time of purchase.
2.2 Billing and Payment ProcessingAll payments are:
Processed by Amazon through your Amazon account
Subject to Amazon’s payment terms and conditions
Managed through your Amazon account settings
We do not:
Process payments directly
Store payment details
Have access to your credit/debit card information
2.3 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Amazon account or Alexa app settings. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period.
2.4 Refunds
Refunds are handled by Amazon in accordance with Amazon’s digital subscription policies.
We do not control Amazon’s refund decisions.
3. Eligibility
You must:
Be at least 18 years old, or
Have permission from a parent or legal guardian to purchase a subscription.
The Skill is not directed at children under 13.
4. No Account Creation by Developer
MovieWizard:
Does not require separate account creation
Does not use external account linking
Does not store personal user data outside Amazon’s systems
Does not maintain user profiles
All subscription management is handled by Amazon.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Skill only for lawful purposes.You must not:
Attempt to bypass subscription requirements
Reverse engineer or interfere with the Skill
Use the Skill in violation of applicable laws
6. Content Disclaimer
MovieWizard provides movie-related information for general informational and entertainment purposes only.While we aim for accuracy, we:
Make no guarantees about completeness or reliability
Do not guarantee uninterrupted availability
May modify or discontinue features at any time
Information provided should not be relied upon as professional advice.
7. Intellectual Property
All rights in and to MovieWizard, including its design and functionality, are owned by the developer unless otherwise stated.
You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the Skill without permission.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:The Skill is provided “as is” and “as available”
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Skill
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded under UK law.

MovieWizard operates on the Amazon Alexa platform.Your use of Alexa devices and subscription payments is also governed by:

Amazon’s Privacy Notice
We are not responsible for Amazon’s services, billing systems, or policies.
10. Termination
We reserve the right to:
Modify, suspend, or discontinue the Skill
Change subscription features or pricing (as permitted under Amazon’s policies)
You may stop using the Skill at any time by disabling it or cancelling your subscription through Amazon.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.Any disputes arising in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
